On September 10th the exhibition of legendary fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh was opened at the Kunsthal. Because of this happening several activities will pop up thorughout the city to highlight the work of Peter Lindbergh.

About Lindbergh
Peter Lindbergh has been one of the most influentual fashion photographers of the world for almoest forty years. Since the 80s his pure black-and-white photographs are iconic for the development fashion photography. Lindbergh stood at the cradle of the careers of a new generation super models like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Nadja Auerman, Tatjana Patitz and Karen Alexander.

Arrival in Rotterdam and opening exhibition (from 8 September to 10 September)

Peter Lindbergh opened his popup exhibition together with top model Lara Stone and Dutch model Elise Hupkes at Rotterdam Central Station. It existed of three picture that where taken at the Rotterdam harbour. They will also appear in the October edition of the Dutch Vogue. There was also a red carpet event, a public interview at the Kunsthal and you could have your picture taken Lindbergh style at the Rotterdam Uitdagen this weekend.

More activities
The exhibition of the Kunsthal can be visited until February 2017. Until then several Lindbergh related items and events will be organised in Rotterdam. At several locations in the city you can see huge Peter Lindbergh photos of models in the Rotterdam harbour. Besides there will be a Peter Lindbergh weekend on 12 and 13 November with workshops, tours, films and music. 12 November the photographer will be there in person. Finally, on Friday Ocotber 28th a special IFFR screening is planned with an exclusive evening opening of the exhibition and a party with Rotterdams finest dj's at the Kunsthal Café.
