Events & tours
During the so-called 'Rotterdamse Dakendagen' Rotterdam can be experienced from up high. Unfamiliar and private roofs the city can be experienced from a different perspective. Have a Friday evening drink, visit concerts, silent dico party's, rooftop bars, silent cinema or sport activities.
Future Flux Festival - 9 to 11 June
Did you know architecture and technology are often connected? Discover the most recent innovations from the 9th to 11th of June. In the Onderzeebootloods you can find a playground filled with installations, technical art, performances, music and more.
Discover the hidden gardens of Rotterdam! The owners of over 90 gardens scattered around the city open welcome you to their little oasisses.
Architecture Day - 18 June
Explore remarkable and influencial buildings which aren't normally accessible. With tours and walks you will learn new stories at famous locations. This year at Maritiem District and the Wilhelminapier.
Archikidz! - 17 June
What would happen if we would live on the Maas? Archikidz tries to figure this out with the help of real architects. Kids can build their own fantasy city. The event is free and takes place at the Scheepvaart and Transport College.
ZigZagZuid - 23 till 25 June
The free architecture festival ZigZagCity takes you on a journey to Zuidplein. Follow a route along both well-known and hidden spots and watch pop-up art along the way.
Wake up in Architecture - 1 till 30 June
During the Rotterdam Architecture Month top architects and talents from the city open their doors for guests. Get a match and discover at which impressive home you will be staying. Breakfast is included.
