Once a year Katendrecht transforms into the rough red light district and sailor's quarter it used to be. Get ready for an evening and night filled programme with theater, music and other entertainment.
A night in Rotterdam
The festival owes her name (literally translated: Night of the Cape) to Katendrecht’s former nickname: ‘The Cape’.
This year De Nacht van de Kaap will take place at ss Rotterdam and will be taking you several decades back in time to discover the remarkable history of a small peninsula. Sea shanties and tall tales can be heard in various locations throughout Katendrecht’s former red light district. Last years Dutch celebrities like Loes Luca, Paul de Leeuw and Joris Lutz performed on stage.
Keep an eye on the festival website and Facebook page for more information and latest updates.
