battles, talks, roller skate jams & workshops, live performances, a powertalk and afterparties with the hottest DJ’s!
Make A Scene is a family-friendly event… until that clock hits 11 PM and we go off into the night! Bringing together the dopest hiphop scenes to share their art, stories, values and build together. It's the place to be for all lovers of the culture. If you know, you know!
We invite everyone to come and experience hiphop culture in its broadest sense,
whether you’re a familiar face or a newbie!

International Dance League Battles
Together with International Dance League we're hosting 1 out of 3 Qualifier events that lead to the big finals in October! Dancers from all over the world can sign up to compete in styles Hiphop Freestyle, House, Popping and All Styles.

Vinyl Confessions w/ Rich Media (USA)
A series of artists talks for those who cultivate our musical climate, the pioneers of the past and the heroes of tomorrow. We’re kicking off this series with special guest Rich Medina (USA), your favorite DJ's favorite DJ. Medina doesn’t only spin hiphop, house, soul, afrobeat, funk, breaks and dance classics but is also known for his vast knowledge about these genres.
Game Changers w/ Karen Nyame KG (UK) presented by Team BEATS
In Game Changers leading producers of the current generation discuss their top ten hiphop producers who influenced them and how they integrate this into their work. For this edition we’ve invited DJ and producer Karen Nyame KG (UK) dubbed as the “Goddess of Rhythm” is known for her innovative and percussive luminary of dance music.
Powertalk w/ Jonathan McCrory (USA) presented by KIP Republic
KIP Republiced joins forces with HipHopHuis to curate a Powertalk with Jonathan McCrory (USA), Theater and Artistic Director of the National Black Theater (NYC).
During the powertalk, Ira Kip will talk to Jonathan about how at the age of 29 he was given the responsibility to evolve a theater into a place that serves the community at all times, integrates current events, creates a platform for intergenerational makers, community leaders and creatives, and also safeguards the principles and legacy of the theater.

Upcoming talents take the stage to show their skills to a wider audience during the House Session Live Jam session.
Our all-star band is led by drummer Junior Appah (RIMON, Yung Nnelg, Akwasi) , multi-instrumentalist/artist/producer Bnnyhunna (EP Sintha 2022), producer/artist Anan Ya'ari, who just released his debut EP YU, and Yasper (producer/guitarist).

Calling all beatmakers to sign up for the Perfect Beat Challenge!
beatmakers to produce a beat within a 1-hour time frame using a limited sound & sample pack. Expert judges Jaap Wiewel of Killing Skills Studio (NL), Taz Eyeternal (NL) and Rich Medina (USA) will select the Perfect Beat (winner) of the day!
