Enchanting classical open air concert on the water.
Principal conductor Lahav Shani
Concert on the water
Have a seat along the water or sail your own boat towards the stage, and enjoy a free concert by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
The transparent stage in the Veerhaven (harbor) sits on a pontoon boat, floating among the antique sailing yachts and sloops. Combined with the music, lighting, and the monumental buildings in the background, the scene looks like something out of a fairy tale.
A look back
Last year featured future principal conductor Lahav Shani. Additionally, a top pianist joined the performance, as for the first time in the history of this concert a grand piano was lifted onto the stage. Because of its 15th edition, for the first time there were two concerts.
This year's time table and line-up haven't been announced yet. Check out the website and facebook page for more information and the latest updates.
