De 4th edition of Schorem's rock 'n' roll festival took place in the Onderzeebootloods.
From barbershop to festival
Slick hairdos, impressive tattoos and “pure goddamn rock’n’ roll”! Owner Leen is upfront about it: this party is not for everybody. But for those who love to rock; you are welcome.
How it began
Like so many other success stories, Scumbash was born out of good intentions. Barbershop Schorem became very popular, very fast. This meant that customers sometimes had to wait for hours for a haircut or shave. The gentlemen of Schorem decided they wanted to organize something to reward their loyal customers for their patience. Something small, like three bands playing at the Exit, a small nearby venue. But Schorem wouldn’t be Schorem if they kept things small: three bands became three stages, and the Exit became the Van Nelle Factory. Scumbash was born!
